Do I need a radio or a ham licence?
No. You learn and practise with just your phone, ideally with headphones. It is the ideal way to get ready before going on air for real.
Is the AI operator a real person?
No, it is an artificial intelligence that simulates a ham operator: it follows the protocol of a CW QSO, listens to what you send and answers accordingly.
I am a complete beginner: is it for me?
Yes. The Koch course starts with two letters and adds a new one only when you are ready. Before your first QSO a short guide explains what happens.
What can I do for free?

What is the difference between Full unlock and DX Pass?
